How It Works
- Raw Water Distribution: Raw water enters via the inlet pipe and is distributed homogeneously to the filter base.
- Filtration: Water flows upward through the sand bed, where impurities are removed, and clean water is discharged from the outlet weirs.
- Sand Cleaning: Dirty sand is lifted via the air-lift system to the sand washer, where it undergoes hydraulic separation to remove impurities. The cleaned sand is returned to the filter bed.
